Turns out we are  not biased in our opinion of Plettenberg Bay as one of the most beautiful towns in the world.
Plettenberg Bay has won 8th in the top outdoor and adventure category as well as 3rd place in the  top beach and sun category for the african continent.

Plettenberg Bay Scores as Top Destination

Plettenberg Bay was voted the third best Beach and Sun Destination in Africa and also made the top ten list in the Outdoor and Adventure category when it was voted as the eighth most popular wildlife destination in Africa.

Hot Talent in Bitou

[ May 31, 2010 9:00 am to June 9, 2010 9:00 am. ] The second year of The Lunchbox Theatre and Bitou Tourism’s Performance and Creative Arts Showcase (Tshisa Talent) initiative got off the ground with a flying start. The Lunchbox team of Stuart Palmer, Mncedisi Ncedani and Spida Matyhila have been visiting various local Bitou communities and meeting with a wide and diverse range of artists.

Junior Soccer Fans get into the Action in Plettenberg Bay

[ June 5, 2010; ] Local soccer fans and players fans in Plettenberg Bay and surrounds will be getting into the spirit of the world’s most beautiful game when they participate in the Bitou Mini World Cup Final in New Horizons on Saturday, 5 June. Bitou Municipality in partnership with the Plett Football Association launched the tournament earlier this month in an effort to raise awareness and support for the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup.

New advisory committee to assist tourism in Plettenberg Bay
